Latin Translation Turnaround Times
Classical Turns offers impressively swift returns for most translation projects. The following rough guidelines for turnaround after receipt of payment can be given for translations into and out of the Classical languages:
Under 100 words - within 24 hours (excl. national holidays)
101-1000 words - within five days
More than 1000 words - at the rate of c.1,500 words per week (or 2,500 words per week if from Latin or Greek into English)
A 'High Priority' service is available at a surcharge of 25% of the project cost, which will be given to you by email before work begins. Through the High Priority service, for texts under 100 words, a translation can be returned within 1 and 10 hours after payment (if received between 0700 and 2300 GMT); for those of 101-1000 words, the translation can be returned within four days; for those of more than 1000 words, the translation would proceed at the approximate rate of 2,500 words per week.
